Neurological Physiotherapist

Angie graduated from the Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Physiotherapy) in 2009.  After a year of junior rotations in NZ, Angie moved to Australia to work at the Royal Melbourne Hospital on the acute stroke and neurology unit. Over the next 3 years Angie worked in acute and rehabilitation settings treating clients with a broad range of neurological conditions including progressive conditions, vestibular and movement disorders. 

Angie moved to the UK in 2014 and worked in both public and private sectors in various neuro rehabilitation settings. This included working for a private rehabilitation company specialising in treating jockeys and rugby players with brain and spinal injuries using advanced technology. For her last 3 years in London Angie worked as the physiotherapy team lead at Lewisham Hospital managing its acute stroke service.

Angie takes an open, caring and dynamic approach to rehabilitation. A firm believer in any movement is good movement, Angie incorporates principles from activities such as yoga and Pilates. Angie loves getting creative and thinking outside the box, keeping clients’ goals and aspirations at the heart of how therapy is tailored.

Angie enjoys treating clients with any neuro disability and has a special interest in stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury and vestibular conditions. She has also completed training in treating pelvic health conditions.
